Dyslexia Smart School program
Schools everywhere tell me they see more and more students with dyslexia and ADHD in their classes.
This is NOT a global trend. It’s a reality. Estimates are that 1 out of 5 students has a neurodivergent condition (dyslexia, ADHD, autism, dyscalculia, etc).
But these students face 2 problems:
1. There is still a very low level of awareness, screening and diagnosis (although this is on the rise)
2. Teachers and schools are not trained to take these students to their highest potential.
This is WHY I created the Dyslexia Smart School program.
The Dyslexia Smart School program not only works with the school’s teachers, and trains them to be the best and most effective teacher possible for ALL their students.
It also works intensively with the school’s ADMINISTRATION and MARKETING team. Together, we work on effective communication around neurodivergent conditions in the school but, most of all, with the students’ parents. But we will also take this one step further, and look at how YOUR SCHOOL can take a step (or even a leap) forward and not only improve your STUDENT RETENTION, but also increase the intake of NEW STUDENTS.

Management and Admin Staff
The administrative staff of any language school is a pivotal point in this whole process. They are the ones who communicate with the families. If they don’t know about Dyslexia Smart courses, we are missing huge opportunities, both of student retention and of growth (and here is when the marketing team comes in as well).
- When the admin part of the Dyslexia Smart School course is over, they will:
- Understand dyslexia, ADHD, Autism and other neurodivergent conditions, and how they relate to language learning
- Recognize the signs of these conditions in their students
- Understand how Dyslexia Smart Teaching works and how to explain it to the families whose students are dyslexic, ADHD, autistic, etc.
- Understand how teachers adapt materials and create new ones
- Know how to communicate effectively with teachers, students and, most of all, families, around neurodivergent conditions
- Have strategies to create stigma-free environments and increase student retention
- Have strategies to expand your student body with new, neurodivergent, students signing up to your courses
What this program is NOT
This program does NOT teach any teacher to diagnose your students. Diagnosis is for diagnosticians. Not for language teachers. But I do believe that it IS any language teacher’s duty to understand how their students learn best, and how their brain works. This is why I created this program.
This program is NOT just another course on your yearly CPD program. This course has already changed the lives of many teachers (and their students). No teacher will be the same again, and they will ALL see your neurodivergent students with different eyes.
This program is NOT about putting extra work on your teachers’ plates. It is actually the complete opposite. With the Dyslexia-Smart strategies and materials, any language teacher’s work will become easier and more effective, because whatever they do will now work for ALL their/your students.

This program is designed for groups, starting from a single group of teachers (up to 10) and your admin/marketing staff.
Small language schools:
1 teacher group (up to 10 teachers) in the Dyslexia Smart Teacher program (Levels I & II)
1 admin/marketing group (up to 6 participants) in the Dyslexia Smart Admin program + Dyslexia Smart School certificate & Community
Price: 2.500€
Bigger language schools:
Several groups of max 10 teachers in the Dyslexia Smart Teacher program (Levels I & II)

The Dyslexia Smart School program is designed on a 10-week basis. Nevertheless, there is certain flexibility in this. Some schools do it faster (8 weeks), others take a bit longer (12-14 weeks)
Starting dates are also flexible, although the most suitable start of any program would be:
September/October
January
April
June/July
The workload really depends on each teacher. The videos can (and I know many will) be reviewed, text can be re-read, etc. Nevertheless, teachers report that they spend an average of 2 hours per week on the course.
